Mac Miller: 5 Things To Know About Ariana Grande’s New Rapper Boyfriend

Another rapper has taken Ariana Grande off the market! After Ari and Mac Miller confirmed their rumored romance with a PDA-filled dinner date on Aug. 21, fans are dying to know more about her new boyfriend. Get to know Mac right here!

1. Mac Miller isn’t his real name…or his only pseudonym.

Mac‘s real name is Malcolm McCormick, picking up his stage name as a teenager. Prior to picking the name Mac Miller, he went by EZ Mac, but he has also used the other aliases Larry Lovestein, The Velvet Revival, and Delusional Thomas. He’s even a renowned record producer under the name Larry Fisherman! Wonder which one Ariana calls him…

2. He had his own reality show.

In 2013, Mac, 24, starred in a documentary series on MTV2 called Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family, which followed him and his friends through their crazy adventures. The show ended in 2014 after airing for two seasons.

3. He’s NOT a fan of Donald Trump.

Mac declared his dislike of Donald with his song “Donald Trump” in 2011, which started a minifeud with the now presidential candidate. Trump even called Mac an “ungrateful dog” on Twitter in 2013 — he definitely won’t be getting a vote from the rapper!

4. He had a long term girlfriend before Ariana.

Mac was on-and-off with his high school sweetheart Nomi Leasure for seven years. They even moved in together last year, but that seemingly was what ultimately ended their relationship.

5. He has another collab with Ariana coming out!

Mac’s name first became familiar to Ariana’s fans when he was featured on her 2013 breakout hit “The Way.” As their romance apparently heated up, he collaborated with her again on a remix of her song “Into You,” and now the pair are teaming up once more on his upcoming album The Divine Feminine in a track called “My Favorite Part.” Hmm…perhaps they wrote that song about each other?!

HollywoodLifers, do you think Mac and Ariana make a cute couple?
